Andrew set out to develop an application for INDI One’s infotainment system. This application allows the driver or passenger to configure the interior lighting of the car by selecting a solid color alongside various modes, patterns, and motions. He used a vibrant color wheel in the shape of the INDI EV logo for ease of selection and brand identity. This was developed in Python and uses a custom Tkinter UI.

Color Selection
The user can select any color in the color wheel, and the border color and “Selected Color” box color changes accordingly. The negative space surrounding the colors is not selectable.
Light Options and Dark Mode
The user can change the light mode, blending pattern, and light motion to alter the appearance of the selected color. There is also the option to switch between light and dark modes within the application.
